Specifying a Specific IP Address for SMTPDA
Document #:10473

Applies To:
  • MailSite 9

Synopsis:
In MailSite 9 and later, you can select which IP Address MailSite should use to deliver email. This is useful where customers have multiple IP addresses to receive email, but only one of those IP addresses has rDNS setup for email delivery.

This can be done in the form of a Registry change. For customers running SQL Connector, this change is also made within the Registry on each node. If the IP address of the machine changes, then this value will need to be updated.
